Diane Weeks depicts her feelings about her surroundings through objects and places rather than with people. Diane started with an enjoyment of presenting the activities that people are involved with during the course of their day. Subsequently, her artistic focus evolved into more formalized renderings of the expressive aspect conveyed about daily life and people’s feelings through them, sometimes with humor, treating them as artifacts of current life. By utilizing the environment that people create, Diane expresses the beauty in the ordinary and the joy of the human relationship to their surroundings.
