About

Diane Weeks has a fine arts and illustration background from Parsons School of Design. She studied painting in Paris and Italy and pursued the art of printmaking at The National Academy of Design in New York City.

Diane exhibited hand watercolored etchings depicting scenes of intimate spaces. Her etchings have been accepted at The National Academy Shows, The Annual Gracie Square Art Shows and at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center. She was awarded departmental honors from Parsons and won The

Albert Baldwin Prize (best etching in show) from The Academy.

After working in Manhattan, Diane developed a business in interior design which allowed her another way to express her love of interiors and decorative arts. This has led to the artist’s latest work featuring pen and watercolor scenes of local places that people frequent in the course of their daily lives.

Diane’s work can be found at the Rowayton Arts Center and the Barrett Book Store in Darien.
